At Golden Space, we take the utmost care in packaging and shipping every original painting to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Please read the following Shipping Policy carefully before placing your order.

2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

All paintings are shipped via private courier service with full tracking and insurance. Each artwork is carefully packaged using professional art shipping materials to prevent any damage during transit.

The specific courier service may vary depending on the destination country. A tracking number will be emailed to you once the painting has been dispatched.

3. Processing Times

3.1. EU and EEA Orders

Order processing time for deliveries within the European Union and European Economic Area is 1–5 business days from the date of order confirmation.

3.2. Non-EU / International Orders

For shipments outside of the EU and EEA, please allow a minimum of 10 business days for order processing. This additional time is required for export documentation to be filed and approved by the relevant authorities.

3.3. Custom & Commissioned Works

For custom or commissioned paintings, the processing time will be communicated individually at the time of order confirmation and may vary depending on the complexity of the work.

4. Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times vary by destination and are estimated as follows:

  • Within Norway: 2–5 business days after dispatch
  • EU / EEA countries: 5–10 business days after dispatch
  • United Kingdom: 7–14 business days after dispatch
  • United States & Canada: 10–20 business days after dispatch
  • Rest of World: 14–30 business days after dispatch

Please note that these are estimated timeframes and actual delivery may vary due to customs processing, local postal services, or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Shipping Costs

The cost of shipping is calculated based on the size and weight of the painting and the delivery destination. Shipping costs will be displayed and added at checkout before payment is finalized.

From time to time, Golden Space may offer promotional free shipping on selected items or orders above a certain value. Such promotions will be clearly indicated on the product page or during checkout.

6. Customs, Duties & Taxes

6.1. EU Orders

Since Norway is not part of the European Union, there may be a customs duty or import tax charged upon delivery. This fee is determined by the customs authority of the destination country and may vary. All customs fees and import duties are the responsibility of the buyer.

6.2. Non-EU / International Orders

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees charged by the destination country. These charges are determined by local authorities and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost. The buyer is responsible for all such fees.

We recommend contacting your local customs office for information about potential charges before placing your order.

7. Packaging

Each painting is professionally packaged for safe transport:

  • Protective wrapping (acid-free tissue paper and bubble wrap)
  • Corner protectors for framed works
  • Rigid cardboard or wooden crate for large-format paintings
  • Custom-fitted packaging to prevent movement during transit

We recommend keeping the original packaging in case a return is needed.

8. Insurance

All shipments include full transit insurance covering the artwork's value. In the unlikely event that a painting is damaged during shipping, the insurance will cover the cost of repair or replacement.

To file an insurance claim, you must notify us within 7 business days of delivery and provide photographic evidence of the damage, including images of the packaging. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.

9. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with the courier's tracking number and a link to track your shipment in real time. If you do not receive tracking information within the expected processing time, please contact us at golden.gs.space@gmail.com .

10. Delivery Issues

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact us and we will investigate the matter with the courier. Common reasons for delays include:

  • Customs processing delays
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address
  • Failed delivery attempts (when the recipient is not available)
  • Force majeure events (weather, strikes, pandemics, etc.)

Golden Space is not liable for delays caused by customs authorities, courier services, or events beyond our control.

11. Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship to most countries worldwide. However, there may be restrictions on shipping to certain regions due to export regulations or courier limitations. If we are unable to ship to your location, you will be notified during the checkout process.
