The Power of Faith

This work tells of the moment when a person stands before their own “sea” and cannot yet see the way through. It is precisely there that Emuna is born—a quiet, profound trust that the path will open. Here faith is not an idea, but the courage to take the first step when the future is unknown, the waves rise high, and the desert stretches ahead.

At the center of the painting stands the biblical image of the Exodus: the staff is raised, the sea divides, and the journey forward begins. It is not a step taken out of certainty, but out of trust. The waters become walls, and fear turns into a threshold that can be crossed when the heart holds firmly to the divine promise.

Texture and sand anchor the scene in reality, reminding us that miracles do not begin somewhere far away—they arise beneath our very feet. Gold shimmers within the current like a sign of divine presence: a light that is not loud, yet still guides the way.

This work becomes a bridge between fear and redemption, between human fragility and divine strength. It speaks of a faith that transforms an obstacle into a path—and of a freedom that begins with a single step.
