The Gift of the Ancestors is an artistic interpretation of the famous Scythian pectoral—one of the most valuable treasures of Ukrainian history. The pectoral is not merely a piece of jewelry, but a sacred symbol of life that connects Heaven and Earth, past and present, humanity and the divine.
In this work, the spiritual energy of the ancestors is expressed through a contemporary visual language. The gold shines like the light of eternity, the relief recalls the breath of time, and the dark background reveals the depth of centuries. Every element has been created by hand—with love and deep respect for those who came before.
The three levels of the pectoral symbolize the harmony of the world’s order:
the upper level — the world of people and earthly life,
the middle level — the world of gods and nature,
the lower level — the world of death and rebirth.
Together they form the eternal cycle of existence—the endless movement between light and darkness, between struggle and goodness, embodying the immortality of the Ukrainian spirit.
